In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult for students from outside Learning Tree to enter our Elementary School. This is because enrolling without sufficient English ability can be challenging not only for the child but also for teachers and classmates.
To support families who wish to join our Elementary School but are currently attending other preschools, we are pleased to announce the opening of an Elementary Preparatory Class for children aged 5–6.
If your child currently attends another preschool but you are hoping for them to enter Learning Tree Elementary School, we encourage you to consider this class. Since it is difficult for us to accept students with no English background into the Elementary program, this class is designed to help children build the foundation they need to thrive in an English-based learning environment.

Preparatory Class for Elementary School
Eligibility:
Children who are 5–6 years old, wish to enter Learning Tree Elementary School, and are motivated to prepare for it
Schedule:
Weekdays, Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–6:00pm
(3:00pm–4:00pm is snack time. The schedule follows the school calendar.)

Admission Fee: ¥100,000

Special Benefit:
Students who continuously attend this class will be eligible to take the internal entrance exam for the Elementary School in November.
Application:
Please choose a date when both your child and a parent can visit the school at 10:20am using the link below.
During the visit, your child will have the opportunity to experience a kindergarten class, and if we determine that the Preparatory Class is a suitable placement for your child, we will issue a “Certificate of Admission to the Preparatory Class.”
Please note that a fee of ¥11,000 will be required for the school visit as part of our fundraising.
