Thank you for your constant support and encouragement in 2025. We are excited to see what the children can do in 2026!
We are pleased to inform you that our students will be participating in the Essay Writing Competition 2026. This competition is designed to encourage reflection, creativity, and empathy through writing.
The essay theme is “Understanding Someone Different From Me.” Students will write a personal, reflective essay about a time they learned something from someone with a different background, language, culture, or perspective. The focus is on what they noticed, what they learned, and how the experience helped them grow.
Key Details:
Type of Essay: Personal narrative / reflective
Format: Handwritten only
Word Limits:
Grades 1,2: 100-150 words
Grades 3,4: 150-250 words
Grade 5: 250-350 words
Grades 6,7: 350-500 words
Students may practice at home, and parents are welcome to discuss ideas with them. However, please note that no notes, drafts, or prepared material will be allowed on the day of the competition. The final essay must be written independently during the contest.
Judging will be based on clarity of experience, reflection and insight, organization, creativity, and proper writing mechanics.
